  1. Questionnaire responses: Subjects completed a questionnaire before and after each of the three 7-day study interventions. Any self-reported occurrence was counted, permitting the possibility that a single subject could report multiple events across serial questionnaire assessments. The number of self-reported occurrences for each questionnaire item (bruising easily, onset of gum bleeding, or other bleeding) is shown. The percentage of self-reported occurrences relative to the number of study subjects (12) is provided in parentheses
